Maximize the utility of
imaging biomarkers
to the benefit of
patients with arthritis.
Learn more about the project

AutoPiX is a major international project focused on improving healthcare for people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).

The AutoPiX project brings together pharmaceutical and medical technology partners with leading academic institutions to enhance the use of imaging biomarkers for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), collectively known as systemic arthritides.

It aims to develop advanced imaging tools and artificial intelligence (AI) models to better diagnose, monitor, and treat these conditions. These tools will make use of imaging biomarkers—like X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs—to provide more precise and personalised care.

AutoPiX launches “PiXights” – A new webinar series bringing insight into innovation in imaging in rheumatology.

The AutoPiX project is proud to announce the launch of “PiXights”, a new webinar series designed to shed light on the most cutting-edge developments in rheumatic disease imaging. These live-streamed sessions will feature leading scientists, clinicians, and innovators at the intersection of molecular imaging, AI, and precision medicine.

PiXights will be streamed regularly via the AutoPiX YouTube channel:

The webinars will cover:

  • Advances in imaging and rheumatic disease biomarkers
  • The role of AI-driven analysis in diagnosis and treatment
  • Updates from the AutoPiX consortium and key research outcomes
The series is open to the public and tailored for researchers, clinicians, students, and all stakeholders interested in the future of non-invasive diagnostics and personalised healthcare in rheumatic conditions.

The first episode of PiXights will go live on October 7th from 14:00 to 14:30 CET, featuring “Why AutoPiX?” Be prepared for a short presentation on the unmet needs explained to non-rheumatologists by Daniel Aletaha and Peter Mandl, our PI and co-PI, and a debate with Peter Böhm, one of our flamant patient research partners and Robert Janiczek, our project coordinator. Francois Bonnay will moderate the webinar.

Follow us to stay updated on upcoming episodes and engage with the research shaping tomorrow’s clinical practice. For more information, visit autopix.eu or subscribe to the YouTube channel.
